This December, Liberty University will host an intercollegiate ice skating competition at the LaHaye Ice Center.
The event will bring ice skating competitors from across the country to Liberty’s campus on Dec. 3 and 4. According to the U.S. Figure Skating website, figure skating is the fastest-growing series among intercollegiate competitions.
Liberty is one of about 60 colleges and universities to have a competitive ice skating club team. Liberty’s synchronized team, LU Radiance, has been in competition for less than two years and is one of 20 club sports teams on campus.
